Meet
Kristen Barry
My therapeutic approach has a foundation in building a healthy relationship that is grounded in the values of safety and respect while mindfully applying principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Trauma-informed care, and using play in order to promote positive, empowering change.
I believe that regardless of why a youth or family is in distress, the family should be met where they are today, then to work collaboratively to leverage the individual and familial strengths to establish or regain integration, balance, and wellness through the process of change. I strive to create a culture and place of safety in order for change to occur.
